Session 1 notes

Summary

Intro and Travel

Murbrek, Shnarkle, Lilith, and Rar Summerfang introduce themselves to each other. Sarkas also introduces himself, and offers a reward if we(the party) investigate an incident at Aldritch farm. We ask Aldritch about it, and he tells us where his farm is and what he believed happened there.

Investigation

We make our way to the Aldritch farm it is strangely untouched. There is a half inch layer of dust, despite Aldritch supposedly only leaving a couple days before. We find three knolls inside the building, and one comes in from behind us. Defeating them, we discover they hold a map and a strange symbol on their shoulders.

Session 2 notes

Summary

Travel

We continue our journey following the map we discovered off the Gnolls. We make it about half way, before taking camp. During the night, we are disturbed by a ghost. By the next day, we make our way into the dead forest, and discover a ruined stone village overtaken by decay.

The ruined village

In the middle of the village is a ravine, with a tunnel inside. We enter, and find a small intricately decorated. There are 7 hexes on the wall, and a puzzle to identify what to push. In the left side room, there are several more Gnolls, which we overcome.

Session 3 notes

Summary

We continue to explore the cave. There is a room made entirely of bone on the right side. We push a couple of the hexagons in the middle room, and it opens to another room, with a zombified dragonborn inside. It appears that he is the cause of the attack on Aldritch’s home, and we try to defeat him. However, he escapes despite our efforts.

Session 4 notes

Summary

Returning to dragonview, we find that Sarkas has left for one of the major cities. We also discuss our avenging of Aldritch’s. Moving on to look for Sarkas, we travel to Ouromael, only to find Lilith’s adoptive parents are missing.

Session 5 notes

Summary

Searching for answers behind Lord Leobardus’s disappearance, we discover Sarkas, who tells us that there are rumors that he has simply run away on another adventure, but it is a little odd that he brought his wife with him. He also shows interest in finding a map he believes Leobardus owns, and wants us to rummage through Leobardus’s belongings. We decided to find more information, before giving anything to Sarkas. Upon further investigation, we find other supporting rumors, including people claiming to have seen him running away in the night. Finally, a guard shows up to report that Leobardas has been spotted near Peppercorn city, and we agree to make our way there.

Session 6 notes

Summary

We travel to Peppercorn city to investigate claims of Lord Leobardus’s apperance. Apon ariving, Lilith recives two letters. One is an invitation to the Marshals ball, and the other is to the ball of Lord Farmer, both at the same time. Shnarkle has a disagrement with the bartender and is kicked out, while Lilith and Rar decide to get ready for the Farmer ball.

Session 7 notes

Summary

Shnarkle and Murbrek

Shnarkle and Murbrek search for clues around where Shnarkle was beat up. They discover it was a group known as the Red Rock Gang. They find a place to listen into the gangs meeting, finding the group displaying Shnarkle’s belongings. The leader of the group leaves with guards + Shnarkle’s stuff. Upon following them to one of their houses, we defeat the guards, get Shnarkle’s stuff, then escape.

Lilith and Rar

Based several hours later, Lilith and Rar hear news about the news of their companions starting a riot in their attempt to escape. They also find that Lord Stone, their intended target of conversation will be late for the ball. Rar also meets Lady Farmer, the daughter of the host, to be fascinating and starts dancing with her.
